My first stay at home day. Abby had a Dr’s appointment today. We were all ready to walk out the door when Isabelle started throwing up all over the kitchen. She was crying so much that she just heaved. She was so mad at me for taking away her binky.
At the Dr’s office, they wanted Abby to give a urine sample. She refused to let me or anyone in there with her so the nurse put a little “collector” in the toilet. After a couple minutes, I heard Abby in there crying so I went in to check on her. “I just can’t go dad.” She sobbed. I told her it was ok; we will get some water and try again. She kept crying so the nurse said, “Let’s just move on shall we?” In the exam room, the nurse took Abby’s blood pressure etc. Then she gave us a gown and asked Abby to undress and put on the gown. After the nurse left Abby started bawling! She was terrified. I felt so bad. I tried every bribe I could think of. Finally, Dr. McGeath came in and said, “We’ll try to work around it”. He handled it very well. Abby checked out perfect! I knew she was. 39lbs and three foot nine inches tall. She still has not gone potty though.

Today is officially day one of my new job. Deah went to work; I have the kids all day. Here we go. We are getting snow today. The ground is covered and the plow has been by a few times. We went to the dump after lunch and got rid of all the dirty diapers in the garage. Jacey and Kara came over for a while and we all watched “Star Wars III”. It got really nice outside around 5pm. The sun came out and it was bright.
