Well, I finally got one! There's a saying up here that if you live in Northern Michigan you WILL hit a deer. After driving up here for 18 years, I got mine yesterday. On Friday we spent $125 to detail the truck and another $50 to list it for sale in the paper. The detail job lasted 48 hours. I'm glad I'm old and my full coverage insurance is cheap. The kids and I were on our way home from church when it happened. The deer actually came out of a parking lot and wove through the on-coming traffic, somehow missed the car in front of me and I got him (actually her). There wasn't much left of the deer unfortunately. The kids were a little shaken up but the truck got the worst of it. It's hard to tell but the top picture is the before.
